This week we have lots of lovely maths activities for you to be working through!
- Please remember to practise your counting - in jumps of 2, 5 and 10, and also counting from 1 to 100.
- Practise writing your numbers up to 20 - we can't wait to see those correctly formed numbers when we get back to school!
- Our focus for maths is shape! Can you remember the names of 2D shapes? Can you find these shapes in your house - circle, triangle, square, rectangle, pentagon, hexagon, semi-circle? How many sides and corners do they have? Are they straight or curved sides? What about 3D shapes? Can you find these shapes in your house - cube, cuboid, sphere, cylinder, cone? How many faces? Edges? Vertices (remember this means corner)? Can you make a model using 3D junk boxes and cartons?
- Finally, there are daily activities all linked to the story of 'The Dinosaur that Pooped a Planet' that you can have a look at.
Have fun!
