Tuesday

Count in jumps of 2's, 5's and 10's. (Use the 100 square if needed)

Count forwards or backwards from any given number up to 100 (red and yellow group try numbers up to 120).

Use arrow cards on the link below. Show your child how numbers can be partitioned into tens and ones e.g. 74 is 7 tens and 4 ones. Pull the arrow cards apart and put them back together to demonstrate this. Ask your child to choose a 2 digit number and then make it with the arrow cards and base 10 link.

Yellow and Red groups -Choose a number from 1 to 99 and write it in your remote learning book then write as a partitioning sentence e.g.

58=50+8

93=90+3

Repeat choosing different numbers

Green and Blue group -Choose a number from 1 to 30 and write it in your remote learning book then write as a partitioning sentence e.g.

22=20+2

30=30+0

If your child is doing well let them carry on independently if they need support throughout that is also fine we will be practising this activity more throughout the week so hopefully they will become more independent as the week goes on.

Don't forget if you are struggling with anything you can email your child's class teacher, we are here to support you.
