Thursday

Final version of Jack and the Beanstalk, which story have you enjoyed the most over the week?

I would like you to think about the adjectives you used to describe the Giant yesterday.

Green and Blue groups -

Today I want you to put the adjectives into simple sentences. For example:

The Giant was fierce.

The Giant was angry

The Giant was enormous

The Giant was furious!

Write the sentences in your book and don't forget each sentence starts with a capital letter and ends with a full stop.

Yellow and Red groups -

Remember how we used conjunctions on Tuesday to connect 2 short sentences together to make a longer sentence. I would like you to use conjunctions again today to write some sentences about the Giant.

For example -

The Giant was loud and scary.

The Giant was huge and fierce.

The Giant was cross because Jack stole his things.

The Giant was mad because he had to chase Jack.

The Giant wanted to catch Jack but he couldn't.

As you can see I have highlighted the conjunction in green, and, but, because are all conjunctions.

I would like you to write some of your own sentences using the adjectives from yesterday and try to put a conjunction into your sentence. Can you write at least 5 sentences?
