Spring 1 Half term

Explain history is what has happened. It is the past.

Talk about 3 things you did in the past – I was born, I started school, I went on holiday etc

Some things happened a long time ago. Look at toys from the past. Can they say anything about them?  Praise use of historical language – language related to the past / passing of time.

 

Your child can either stick the old and new toys onto the old/new sheet or they could draw a table of old and new toys in their remote learning books.
