Think of as many number bonds to 10 (green/blue group) and 20 (yellow/red group) as you can. Write them in your remote learning book in order e.g.
Ask your child what they notice about the number on either side of the calculation each time. Use objects if your child is struggling to recall number facts from memory.
Today I have added some shape nets for you to print and make. If you don't have a printer you could draw the simple ones or use household objects. Talk about the properties of each shape for example;
A cylinder has: 3 faces, 2 edges and 0 vertices. The cylinder has two identical circular faces on top and bottom, along with one curved face around the outside. It is not always obvious that the outside curved face is rectangular and the net can help to show this.
