Practise counting in jumps of 2's, 5's and 10's. Use the 100 splat square to splat the jumps then look at the pattern. Can the children count in jumps of 2's, 5's and 10's without checking the 100 square? How far can they get without help?

Which way do we count when we are subtracting? Remember not to count the number you start on just count the number of jumps backwards when using a number line or 100 square.
