Whilst looking at the pictures ask your child some of these questions.
Do you like any of the paintings?
Why do you like them?
Is there any you don’t like?
Why don’t you like them?
What is the painting of?
What can you see?
How does it make you feel?
What colours has he used?
Can you remember which colours mixed together make that colour? (eg green is yellow and blue mixed).
You could have a go at some colour mixing at home.
Look at Van Gogh’s Sunflowers painting, can you try and draw it yourself? (Use the worksheet below). Please send any pictures of the Art work your child produces to their teacher’s email. We would love to see what you have been doing!
